The Westnet Usage Meter sidebar gadget is used to display site usage information for your Westnet broadband account. You can download and upload files, view pages, etc. and determine when you are getting close to using up all your monthly quota. The gadget uses the $upload_quota, $download_quota, $upload_limit, $download_limit, $upload, $download, and $timestamp values from your Westnet account.
Now, you can modify these values to fit your needs and enter them in the WebUI (if you haven’t already).
Westnet Usage Meter Configuration:
Once you’ve been given access to the “Internet Services Administrator” WebUI, you will find a section for “Configure Meter” with various parameters set by Westnet (everything you need to set the values in the gadget).

Meter Setup is Local
Set “Allow the Meter to be set on your local network”

URL Base Path
Set “The path to the files to be monitored”, this will be used in the path to the $upload_quota, $download_quota, $upload_limit, $download_limit, $upload, $download, and $timestamp values (example: /usr/westinet/www/tools/usagemeter)

Security

Test Login is set to “Web User and Password”

Log Off Delay
Set “The delay of the meter to log off when screen saver is active”. The default value is 5 minutes.

Meter Timer Is Active
Set “The meter will automatically start or stop at the specified time”.

Allow Log Off
Set “The meter will be automatically locked when the login screen is shown”

Click “Test Login”.

Create Default Meter Profile
In the “Configure Meter” section, click “Create Default Meter Profile” (it is a toggle button).

Once the “Create Default Meter Profile” button is clicked, the profile will be stored in the Westnet directory (it will be a file named “meter.lsp”.)

In the “Configure Meter” section, click “View Meter Profile” (it is a toggle button).

Click “Open In LSP Editor”, it will launch the Network Management Editor (NME).
