About Mono:
If you plug a mono into the outs of the plugin you will get a mono meter.
If you plug it in the loop you will get an internal mono – half a second of silence.
About SampleRate:
The sample rate and the max render can be set to almost any value. If it seems to work perfect for your file and no sound issues occurs, then set it and forget it.
Warning:
Careful the maximum render can cause to some file to not play correctly if you have a lot of transients in the file.
Set the max render to a small value if you have problems.
About Phase:
The phase of output can be set from -90 to +90 degrees.
About Bypass:
In case you can not use the headphone, then you can bypass the tube driver. Tube Driver bypass off and software master volume on.
About Noise:
Nick Crow Tube Driver has a built-in noise gate for active noise cancellation. Note that it does not work in mono mode.
About Damping:
Nick Crow TubeDriver included a built-in damping control, which can be useful to counteract the tube’s natural distortion.
About Inputs and Output:
This a Power Amp simulator. So there is not difference between left and right channel.

To start using TubeDriver you will need a tube amp. Make sure you have an amp with bass and treble controls and a clean power supply. Most tube amplifiers have a 4 pole 2 layer pentode (5N1H structure), some have a 4 pole dual triode (6N1G2T structure), a 6N1G structure or a 4N25 tube.
Nick Crow TubeDriver does a good job of emulating the sound of old tube amplifiers. The advantage of this plug-in is you can use it to set some treble, midrange and bass boost and apply gain to the bass to make it more lively and dynamic. For example – You can easily make your bass more present and punchy.
TubeDriver includes 12 ECC88 circuits (12 in each band) in parallel for even more tube-like distortion. The tube has the same tubes characteristics – from class to output resistance. The input and output transistors of the tube are both ECC88. The op amps power consumption with power supply P = 100uA, and with battery supply P = 10uA (even when the bridge rectifier is not active).
