Howdy,
I’ve been struggling to find a scripting language to use in a multiplayer game. JavaCom does just what I need – however the only thing stopping me is that it’s a windows only application. Please can someone explain how I would make something like this for linux? Thanks

java-com – Is there no way of running it on Linux with Wine? My efforts to get JavaCom running on Linux using Wine have failed.

Would it be the same process as getting a Java Swing application to work on Windows? Is it just a case of converting the exe to a.sh file and running it?

The GMC had last year cleared construction of Kamrup Dasnapur-Shillong road for Rs 49.50 crore.

The GMC is all set to start construction within two weeks on this.

Briefing TOI, superintendent GMC Vijay Chaudhary said nearly 4,500 acres of land would be taken over for the project. The main route of the estimated 52-km road will follow Bhutan border.

It will take three to four months for the work to be completed.

The GMC has decided to use a China-made tractor for the road laying work. The battalion of workers will be handpicked in future.

“We would use the road project as a major means to link up western Assam region to the state capital,” Chaudhary said.
