December 2, 2021 – New in Final Cut Pro 10.6.1. Released November 15, 2021 Fixes an issue that could prevent FCPXML 1.9 and 1.10 files from successfully importing. Added the ability to import audio files in MP3 format.

Improved compatibility with MKV format.
Added the ability to preview videos at 60 frames per second

If you have a portable hard drive with iLife on it and a Final Cut Server system setup on your network, you can record to a stream right from the iPhone with the included tools.

To save directly to a stream you just need to go to File > New Project > Capture.

When the project opens, you will have the option to record to a stream or to a file.

FCPX will need to be on a network with a current FCS project setup on it, but other than that, it’s pretty easy.

Somos | December 24, 2017, 13:58:47 PMI’ve used many Final Cut Pro versions over the years. I started using Final Cut Pro 7.0 in 2001 and I upgraded to Final Cut Pro 7.1.2 in 2004. Then I have been using Final Cut Pro X since October 2012. I have used Final Cut Pro 7 and X, but not 10. I have used the Final Cut Pro track based timeline since the early versions. I would say I’m pretty experienced with Final Cut Pro.

William | December 24, 2017, 10:06:50 AMI was thinking about upgrading from 7 to FCP X. But after you said the mouse clicks were gone I wasn’t sure if I should do it or not. I do a lot of motion graphics and web videos and some film editing and I thought it would save me the work of having to buy a new mouse. But if I do I’m going to have to get some of the plugins I use before I bought the app again. I use Framer, Bryce, Photoshop, Adobe Audition, After Effects, and Keyofa.

I finally purchased FCPX 10.4.8 and have been using it for a few months. I do not have the problem that other users are having with the mouse clicks, and although I have not tried it out, I will be upgrading to the 10.4.9 update with the mouse clicks and other bugs worked out.
