      Whether you’re an experienced fantasy RPG veteran, an adventurer who has never stepped foot into a game world before, or even if you’ve never played any type of RPG or fantasy game before, I’d still recommend you check out both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Elden Ring. The beauty of the game is its accessibility. From the first time you log into your account, if you’ve got any interest in RPG’s, or just about any game at all, the game will have you playing it and loving it almost immediately. The visual style is pretty high fidelity, the gameplay is both accessible and fun, and the story is just plain good.

      That said, even if you’re not interested in the game, it’s still worth your time to have a look around. There’s not really too much to see, but it’s still a pretty decent look at some of the settings and worlds that the game will eventually offer, which I think is pretty neat to see for a game that has absolutely nothing to do with the Japanese Studio. As you play, you’ll pick up little bits of information about where your adventure is going, there are hints, and you can even read your friend’s journal entries. It’s not exactly a depth of story that you’re going to find elsewhere, but it’s nice to have a little bit more than the norm.

      And that’s pretty much all I can say about Elden Ring. There’s not much more to talk about. The game is perfect on both the 3DS and Wii U, the story and presentation are just as they should be, and you shouldn’t have too much of a problem figuring out how to play the game on your own. This is one of the best games you’ll play all year.
