Adobe Photoshop is available for your computer in a few different formats. The primary format is a program executable, and you can download this form Adobe’s website. Once the download is complete, you need to open Adobe Photoshop and run it. After it’s running, you can then double-click the Photoshop icon on your desktop to open the program. Usually, you can go to the start menu and type “adobe Photoshop” for the program’s name.

The next format is an installer that will install the program on your computer. If the program is not already installed, you will need to download it from the Adobes website. You need to be running the 64-bit version of Photoshop.

As a photography workflow saver, its RAW processing functionality has long delivered the best bang for your buck, and, with Lightroom 5, Adobe is now serious about that. The new version of the workflow automation software is loaded with a raft of features, including a redesigned user interface. However, it lacks a few key things that could make a difference to those who work with RAW images.

The most important update is the redesign of the development workflow, with a new interface that makes navigating and accessing features much easier. This, combined with a new calibration feature, makes for a much friendlier, easier-to-use app.

Although it’s still a very powerful program, Lightroom 5 feels less intimidating than earlier versions, and it has been streamlined to have just the right amount of features and tricks for beginners to apply to their photos. But, if you thought that’s a good thing, think again.

First of all, the software is less robust, meaning that it will lag a little behind the latest updates to the imaging industry. For example, the latest RAW image codec, DNG, is still not natively supported. This is the biggest omission in the new version, but it isn’t a deal breaker.

Secondly, Lightroom no longer has a grid view. Previously, you could choose to zoom into your image, or you could choose to view your image in a grid view. Though it’s not a big deal at all, aesthetically, the grid view was neat and clean. But if you’re looking for detail, especially on RAW images, the grid view will not provide you with it.

The shape layer feature of Adobe Photoshop has been there for a long time but is rarely used because of, as mentioned, the fact that there is no way to apply a uniform color offset to it. This is where the marquee selection tool comes in. This tool not only allows you to select the shape uniformly, but it also lets you create a color offset, which are more or less like the keyboard shortcuts in the Paint tool.

When you are ready to save and share your work, you can print, export, and save your work. With the online activation option, you can link your license to the Adobe Creative Cloud account so that you don’t have to re-purchase the software every time you want to use it. Adobe Photoshop does, however, require a valid email address and password to connect your account. This is so that we can effectively send you notifications when your software needs to be updated. After downloading the software, it will need to be activated for use. You can do so by entering a valid email address and password of your choice and subscribe to the Creative Cloud on your device.

Adobe Photoshop Elements was designed to make image adjustments easy. It’s a great tool for those who want to enhance their digital images without having to learn complex software. Photoshop Elements includes the same tools as Photoshop, and in addition, includes some useful tools, such as a Paint Brush, Lasso tool, and more that let you refine and edit photos. The most valuable tool in Photoshop Elements is the Adjustment Layers, which allow you to adjust Color, Exposure, Highlights, Shadows, and other important photo elements.
