Instructions:
To add text to a video:
1. Install Adobe Premiere Pro on your computer. It can be downloaded for free at www.adobe.com.
2. On the program’s main page, make sure that your documents (such as Premiere Pro’s project) are saved.
3. Add a new sequence.
4. Select the video type: MPEG-4.
5. Drag-and-drop your finished project onto the timeline.
6. To edit the project, you can open the sequence in Premiere Pro and edit.
To modify the colours of the project:
1. Click on the screen where you want to change colours.
2. Choose the “colour tools” from the menus.
3. Under “change”, “levels”, “transparency”, “adjust”, and “saturation” (the last 3 only available on a Mac), you will be presented with two different options. There will be a preview to the right of the colours.
“Show colours based on a colour book” will use the colours specified on the website as base colours. To change their levels:
– move the sliders until the colours are in agreement with what you want.
– To adjust the difference between the base and final colours, click on “saturation” and on the “saturation” menu, choose a different base colour.
“Show colours based on monitor colours” is the global/default mode. When you launch the program, these are the base colours. To change their level, go to the menu: “clr level”, and adjust the base colour until it’s the right colour. To modify the saturation:
– move the sliders to the right or left to increase or decrease the colour’s saturation.
– To adjust the difference between the base and final colour, click on “saturation” and adjust it again to a different colour.
