Why Me?
I am a self-educated renaissance man. I have graduated from an Ivy League university with degrees in mechanical engineering and applied mathematics. But I was a rank amateur artist. So when I started working on Outland, I wanted to make a game that tackled the impossible while retaining that simple artistry that took me to new heights as a kid. The game has an artistic style that encourages people to dive into it and discover the game on their own, rather than through a critical lens or academic posturing. I love the idea that while Outland is about a man’s struggle against impossible odds, it is also about his relationship to the incredible beauty of this universe he’s stuck in. The game is about the prospect of both heaven and hell, and the journey to get there.

Storyline:
Plague Island is under a curse. The curse was cast by villagers who had no respect for the local lore. They paid a witch to cast a curse to keep their village safe. The villagers had no idea they had cast a curse to the whole of the island. The witch is 100% responsible for all the evil and death that has happened to the villagers.
You are the villager that the curse didn’t affect. You’re little brother is one of the survivors of the curse. He sends you a letter telling you about Plague Island and giving you a huge responsibility. You must cure the curse from Plague Island and save your brother.

I’m making an Android app for people that want to watch an online or mobile game running on the Computer screen, but don’t have the budget or do not own the supported Android device. The App is called “JScreenRec”. So far there are only two games that I have ported to it: -the popular MMORPG World of WarCraft-the online puzzle game, World of Colors! I would recommend getting a mirror from the dollar store, maybe one that has a door that can be opened and closed so that the door can be completely covered. (New doorway and door for a dollar is affordable)

The Age of Rivals is a sequence of one hundred images depicting the meeting of Hogarth’s contemporaries in his biography written by George II. This was painted by William Hogarth in the late 1720s and published in 1729. The second version of the series was painted in 1734 for his book, The Analysis of Beauty. It therefore includes some ideas for the classic version. The images cover the entire output of each artist; 40 from Reynolds, 35 from Gay, 25 from Romney, 15 from Dance and 16 from Van Dyck.

The publishing contract was signed in January 1728. The motivation for Hogarth’s series is clear – to show the false division of artisans and lawyers in the Williamite court; and to show the differing styles of artists as a guide to the reader – a form of “reading the table”. In the chronicle the protagonists’ loves and hates are immortalized, and the position of each in relation to the other is consistent. The artists are notable for their power as one combined them, and the central image depicts a jealous son bringing his father down with a vase.
In 1729 Hogarth was not particularly secure in the royal patronage of art, and was concerned about the degree of his success in status. The next year, his friend Philip Francis produced a report that was critical of him. Hogarth was irritated because the report was published when the 12 year project of his Williamite series was nearing completion. Hogarth was probably invited to work on this series by Lord Burlington after the failure of its economics; his work had consequently fallen off in quality in the early 1720s. The entry of Hogarth into the Royal Academy in 1725 had not been in a spirit of quiet accord with the other members. Burlington was therefore commissioned, so Hogarth was a good friend of the political colour of the collection.
The early theme of the series is the vanity and idiocy of the entire amateur oratorical genre. The second version of the series in 1734, “The Analysis of Beauty”, is almost (but not quite) all about the beauty of nature and the failure of the artists to render it or make it understandable. In both forms of the Biographia, Hogarth had wanted to show how untrustworthy and fickle the amateur artists were, in order for the reader to be aware of the (fairly successful) study of perspective and anatomy in the books’ introduction.
