Adobe Photoshop Elements differs from other graphics editors by being capable of understanding the computer’s integrated graphics card. This way, it is possible to edit full resolution photos with a few clicks, even if you don’t have a high-powered graphics card.

Start Photoshop Elements

Photoshop Elements is started by holding down the Ctrl (control) key while pressing Windows key, or by pressing Alt+F11

Once Photoshop Elements is started, you are prompted with a welcome screen.

To save files to your computer, click on the Save tab.

Select the Save as option to choose a file type (ex. JPG or PGM).

You can also access Photoshop Elements by clicking on its icon on the bottom right of your screen (this icon is shown below):

If the app says “Not available”, check if it is installed correctly and that your antivirus isn’t blocking it. If it is installed, but there are no files to open, delete the app and reinstall it. If you are still having issues, read the troubleshooting section below to find out how to fix them.
