Find a value of one column in a row where another column matches another value in another row

I have a subset of my data I have highlighted below. Each row has a date and a three letter code that is unique to that row. In some cases, a code will have only two letters and there are some codes that span from two letters to three letters.
I am trying to write a macro to open a range of cells for each unique code. The range should be the column where the first letter of the code is equal to the first letter of another row. For example, if I know that BK equals AK in this example, I want to put the value in F12 for the first code in the cells D12:G12. My data sample isn’t huge so I can imagine a loop to go through the codes rather than manually copying each line. I just can’t figure out the syntax for this.
I have tried this:
Sub Macro1()

‘ Macro1 Macro

Range(“D12:G12”).Select
Selection.Copy
Range(“F12”).Select
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues
Range(“D12:G12”).Select

End Sub

And this:
For Each w In Columns(“D:D”).Cells
For Each x In Columns(“F:F”).Cells
If w = x Then
Range(“F12”).Value = w
End If
Next
Next

I feel I’m really close. I can’t figure out how to combine the two loops into a single line where I am
