Battlescaper is a card-driven, tactical wargame in the style of Ace of spades, MilitSim or MinimusMax with a few unique twists.

A single player battles a human opponent to determine who has the upper hand.

Single turn play, where you make your move and your opponent makes his or hers.

Single player only. Requires Internet connection.

Moderate. Can be played in a one-hour timeframe.

A basic version of the game can be played right from the website, and most of the expansions are included with the site. To download expansions, however, you must install a separate program.

After downloading a game from the site, you will need to install the program from Battlescaper.com. Battlescaper.com has developed an extremely easy to use download system.

    Based on the highly anticipated video game of the same name, Muramasa: The Demon Blade is an original fantasy adventure story for the PlayStation Vita system.

    Story:

    A kingdom facing turmoil is the victim of a mysterious crime, the whereabouts of which are unknown. The king of the kingdom is murdered and his four successors are killed. The descendants of the murdered king are struggling to find out who killed their ancestor and to find ways to prevent further incidents.

    In order to make their way in the kingdom, the four descendants must first enter the royal court. It is a place of evil and each of them is like a magnet for various dangerous individuals. While traveling around the land they have to get good grades in the three trials, but they must not lose their way.

    The evil individuals who are after them include the king’s son, who wishes to take the throne, two powerful ministers, and an assassin who does anything to secure his fortune.

    Gameplay:

    Muramasa: The Demon Blade is a side-scrolling visual novel where the player is tasked with selecting multiple choices during the game to reach a desired outcome.

    Players have an active role as a descendant of the recently murdered king.

    Players start the game in a town where the four descendants are sleeping under the moonlight. Players have the option of waking up the four descendants and telling them the story of their ancestor’s murder. To begin their adventure, players can choose to do one of the following two events: walk around town, or go on a short journey.

    Characters on the journey must first find a good place to rest before starting their way to the royal court.

    If players decide to walk around the town, they must find out the whereabouts of each of the descendants, and they must also befriend their companions. They can also buy or sell items.

    A few years ago, during most of my undergrad career, I would have described myself as a “curious lunch bucket type.” I was either in the front row at live events or in the back stands at small startup exhibits. But you know what? That didn’t even fit. I’d go home after every meet-and-greets and mini-sales manager sessions piled on that never-ending live event schedule and discover a swarm of people waiting for me to show them my app. I missed the lies, the elaborate “experience” of a startup, I missed the vibes.

    Before I went public, I filled a whole cart of deceiving lies on investors to show them my app in a clear light. I tell people that its not a waste of time to sit there and read or write a tiny paragraph. I tell them that we can always add a little, and right when you’re saying nice things on a slide, boom–but a man has got to eat. I even admit in front of investors that I never ended up using those favorite apps for one hell of a lot of reasons! For a while.

    These people–all of them–were caught up in preconceptions. All I needed to convince them was a brief vision about how far a new app can have an impact on a person’s life that changed every preconception. Back then, I didn’t know how to pitch like that.

    I’ve recently come to realize (consequence) that I didn’t need to convince them of that. I needed to show them how they can impact their own life. I needed to show them how they can impact someone else’s life.

    That means more choices, more consequences, and more unique endings.

    You’ll save the entire world by fighting super villains, and you’ll even get to fight alongside the heroes as time goes on.

    The only downside to the game is that you can not go back.
    You can not reload your save file once you start the game, and if you quit, you’ll have to play the whole thing again, which can be up to 127,000 words.
    BEST OF US:
    This novel was first released in comic book format in 2014, and came out as an interactive e-book shortly after. You’ll be reading the original comic book in-game, which adds significantly to the depth of the experience.
    It’s actually really hard to convey the depth of BEST OF US as an e-book when you can’t go back. The graphic novel has already been built to a certain point, and it was released before the interactive version.
    The graphic novel is completely up to date with what happens in the game, but it does make the game’s ending slightly harder to predict, and that’s why you can’t reload.
