I can’t seem to be able to wake Nyanco up on my pc either, i tried waking him up with a keyboard shortcut from my steam games, but nothing happened at all, no background music, nothing, nothing. Any suggestions?

Expansion Rainbow Run Details

Gameplay

Rainbow Run is a side-scrolling platformer, where the goal is to get from the top of the screen to the bottom, by collecting 3 colored cubes. However, the problem is… there’s a glitch in the code, which makes the player instantly fall through the screen when collecting any of the cubes.

To fix this glitch, the author (Bennet) and the community worked together to introduce a series of solutions. The first of these solutions is an expansion called Rainbow Run FREE!

Gameplay

Rainbow Run FREE! is a “Normal” Rainbow Run. The only difference is that each level will consist of 2 loops, and the 3 colored cubes will now be different for each level. However, the gameplay is otherwise identical to the base game.

For example, the player can use their gravity powers to jump into other levels, and the player can pick up the cubes and use them in levels. All of the features in the base game are still in this expansion, as well.

Each level is also locked, which means that once the player completes one level, they are forced to play the rest of the levels from the beginning, until they successfully reach the end of the expansion. This allows the player to complete the levels in whatever order they want, and allows the player to try out different gameplay mechanics.

Gamplay

Levels

Each level will be a fixed length. Levels in the base game have the same length, but each level in this expansion will have a different length. The levels in this expansion are usually 3 times as long as the levels in the base game.

Some of the levels also introduce 3 colored blocks which the player must collect. When the player touches the blocks, they will start fading, and if they are not touched within 5 seconds, they will disappear completely. However, the problem is… the player will randomly teleport to other levels, as long as they touch the blocks. This means that once the player touches the blocks, they will get teleported to another level, which makes it very hard to time the blocks!

Some levels also have the “Fade Block” introduced in the free expansion. The Fade Block reveals other hidden cubes (or blocks) around the level, and if the player picks up the blocks they can use them as extra platforms to go around, or in some cases, to go back and forth between two different cubes.
