I’m having a problem getting value of the string array as a string.
in my case it’s a 2D array, where all the elements are numbers.
I want to access the 2nd column (now empty) and get the elements of it as string and use it in a if statement.
In short, I want to do something like this:
$number1 = $str1[0]
$number2 = $str2[0]
$number3 = $str3[0]
// and if $number3 is less than $number2 and $number2 is less than $number1 then print a message…

What I’ve tried in the past is:
$array = array(array(‘a’, ‘b’), array(‘c’,’d’));

$array2 = array();

foreach ($array as $value) {
$array2[] = (array)($value);
}

If I do
foreach($array2 as $i => $value) {
echo $value[1]. ”; //1 – 0 0
